YMCA Employee Review
Great manager who was open to suggestions and willing to listen. Made a lot of progress with such an open mind. A wonderful team to work with along with interesting clientele.

Worked with Martu Aboriginal Youth who where secondary homeless and often neglected and malnourished. Created program's and activities for after school hours for ages 10-19 which included sport, art, health programs and cultural activities. Woke, drove and fed twelve high school youth to school every day along with lunches and provided shoes/socks etc. As part of there cultural studies we engaged in hunting trips and bush camping, sometimes for days. Engaged the youth of Newman in sports such as football, softball, soccer and also arts including music making and community painting. Most amazing two years involved with the YMCA and very appreciative of the experience. Now back from Australia hoping to work with youth, the community and also possibly returning to dental practices as well as admin and reception duties. Nicola Durkan
Amazing experiencing aboriginal culture
Homesick for Ireland
The most disorganised company I have ever worked in. Without going into too much detail; typical day at work consisted of all staff having no idea what they were supposed to be doing at any given time which constantly resulted in children being bored and restless. Management was an absolute joke, my colleagues and I were unknowingly having our pay docked for breaks that we were not given. I was being taxed 25% per pay when I only signed an agreement of 10% tax to be deducted. The only enjoyable part of the job was working with the wonderful children.
