Lack of training and not opportunity for career development

The role of duty manager is selling as a high performance and critical thinking position but the truth is you are a glorified security guard. You have to liaison with clients and resolved any complaining and safety issue that they have or you can find. Depending o the traffic of the location you may have to face small to big first aid emergencies and make a decision about when to call first responded or law enforcement organization (I found this part very exciting and energetic). However, the organization has a lot of rules, policies, and bureaucracy but a huge lack of proper training for the staff. Most of the time you will have to make decisions and after that receive calls of attention from the managers.

A great place to work that really cares about the individual's well-being.

I love working here; I just wish that they hired on more full-time employees. If you need time off, they are always willing to accommodate you. The membership is a great benefit as well.

Pros

Great people, great environment, free membership

Cons

very few full-time positions
