About the role:

Operating within IT Security & Infrastructure Services , the Delivery Engineer will play a key role in the strategic design, implementation and management of IT security and infrastructure solutions across the enterprise to align technological initiatives with ACU's strategy. The position will be responsible for contributing to technical direction, influencing digital policy and ensuring integration across all faculties and university directorates. The Delivery Engineer will deliver technical leadership, contribute to complex activities, and provide guidance and subject matter expertise to team members in incident, issue, business continuity and risk management in relation to platforms and services that the team is responsible for.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement innovative solutions that drive business success.
  • Work closely with university stakeholders, faculties, business units and the IT Directorate to identify business and technical requirements and translate into contemporary fit for purpose solutions.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership, contribute to complex activities and offer guidance and subject matter expertise in incident, issue, business continuity and risk management in relation to platforms and services.

What we offer:

  • Total remuneration valued to $138,111 - $154,409 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $116,706 - $130,478 (pro rata) pa (HEW 8), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
