2030 ESG Commitments
Our 2030 commitments to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging
Indeed connects millions of people to meaningful employment opportunities that can change the trajectories of their careers and everyday lives. But we understand that while talent is universal, opportunity is not.
Our commitment
to gender equity
By 2030, we have committed to increasing representation of women, transgender men, non-binary, agender, gender non-conforming, gender fluid, two-spirit, and genderqueer Indeedians (underrepresented genders – URG) to 50% at all levels of Indeed’s global workforce — from individual contributors and middle management to senior leadership and the board.
We aim to advance equality for all genders, not only leading job seekers to fulfilling employment opportunities, but also contributing to building a fair and just society where everyone can thrive.
Our commitment to addressing underrepresentation
Data continues to prove that the distribution of talent for those who identify as racial and ethnic minorities is underrepresented across multiple roles in most organizations. We often find higher representation in lower level roles and very little representation within technical organizations. The reason for this is not due to a talent gap, but rather systemic bias and barriers in policies and processes.
In the U.S., we define underrepresented racial and ethnic minorities (URM) as Black, Latine, Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander. We are committed to evaluating our processes for equity and enhancing programs that provide differentiated experiences to accelerate the growth and development of this population.
We are building equity into all aspects of the employee lifecycle and, by 2030, are committed to increasing Indeed’s workforce representation of underrepresented ethnic minorities (or URM) in the United States to 30%.
