Full job description

The Company

Elastomers Australia is a proudly Australian-owned industry leader with 45+ years supporting the mining and mineral processing sectors. Our reputation is built on quality products, trusted customer relationships, and a workplace culture that puts safety, teamwork, and people first.

We’re growing our Singleton-based Field Service Team and are looking for a Service Technician who wants variety, stability, and a role they can build a future in.

Why you will want this role

  • Competitive hourly rates plus penalty rates

  • Paid travel time

  • 9-day fortnight – every second Friday off (paid)

  • Quarterly financial incentives and recognition programs

  • Ongoing paid training and career development

  • Strong safety culture with supportive leadership

  • A genuine team environment with regular social events

  • Long-term job security with a successful Australian-owned company

  • Recruitment referral incentives & other incentives such as KPI's

This is a role where your effort is noticed, your time is respected, and your work makes an impact.

About the role

You’ll be out in the field delivering on-site servicing and condition monitoring of Elastomers screen media across CHPP operations in the NSW Coal Fields. The work is hands-on, well planned, and varied — without long-term FIFO.

What we are looking for

  • Current Driver’s Licence

  • Experience in a physically demanding role (regular lifting up to 20kg, bending, kneeling, twisting)

  • Strong communication skills and a reliable work ethic

  • Flexibility to participate in regular travel and overnight stays

  • No prior mine site experience required — we welcome applicants looking for a career change and will provide training and support to help you succeed

Tickets such as Working at Heights and Confined Space are highly regarded but not essential — training is available for the right person.

Are you ready to step into a better role?

If you’re Hunter Valley-based and want a role with great conditions, strong support, and real career opportunities, we want to hear from you.
