That's why we're seeking a Coordinator, Rater Services responsible for supporting multiple operational activities and functional areas to ensure the successful delivery of Cogstate's Rater Services programs and clinical trial support activities. The Coordinator, Rater Services will provide flexible, cross-functional support across a variety of service areas and serve as a key point of coordination between internal teams, study stakeholders, and external customers.

As workloads naturally fluctuate throughout the lifecycle of clinical trials and departmental initiatives, the Coordinator, Rater Services will be cross-trained across multiple operational functions and will work collaboratively with different teams, stepping in where support is needed most. Functional areas may include:

  • Rater Training
  • Central Monitoring
  • Central Rating
  • Scale Management
  • Study Administration and Reporting
  • Additional operational functions as deemed necessary to support business and study needs

The Coordinator, Rater Services is responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, supporting operational reporting, coordinating communications, and delivering exceptional customer service to sites, clinicians, raters, CRAs, sponsors, institutions, and internal stakeholders. The role also contributes to quality management and operational oversight by ensuring processes and deliverables are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day operational activities supporting the delivery of clinical trials and Rater Services programs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for sites, clinicians, raters, CRAs, sponsors, and internal stakeholders, providing timely support and communication.
  • Maintain accurate study documentation, trackers, reports, and records while managing high-volume communications and scheduling activities.
  • Support study start-up, conduct, and close-out activities across Rater Training, Central Monitoring, Central Rating, Scale Management, and other operational functions as needed.
  • Monitor study progress and follow up on outstanding actions to help ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Assist with operational reporting, quality activities, and tracking deliverables against project requirements.
  • Collaborate with Study Managers and functional teams to provide flexible support across multiple operational areas and changing business priorities.
  • Manage assigned responsibilities in accordance with company SOPs, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and support additional operational activities as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • Clinical research, healthcare, operations, customer service, project coordination, or related industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean.
  • Ability to multi-task while remaining highly organized, methodical, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong people skills within the team and with customers and third-party providers.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, work independently, plan effectively, and be proactive.
  • Strong level of computer literacy; experience working with clinical software and systems is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • Strong customer service mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support multiple functional areas as business needs evolve.

  • People skills: within the team, and with customers and third-party providers, strong desire to learn, to seek feedback on performance and to learn quickly.
  • Communication skills: both written and oral, providing operational support and conflict resolution
  • Work skills: eye for detail, problem solving, compulsion to check and double-check work product, ability to work fast, impeccable record keeping and compliance to procedures, high level of computer literacy (Excel/Office savvy).
  • Good organizational skills: handling multiple tasks, establishing and managing competing priorities, ability to work independently and to be proactive
