Updating a Candidate's Application Status

1. Sign in to your account and navigate to the candidates tab.
2. By default, All open and paused jobs will open, which shows all job seekers who applied to your jobs.
   
   1. The Matched Candidates section shows people who have not applied yet but may be a good fit. You can invite them to apply. Learn more about Smart Sourcing.
3. Use the All open and paused jobs drop-down menu to search and filter candidates.
4. Use the filters below the drop-down to sort by candidate status, application date or location.
   
   1. Interest (or shortlist) means you saved a resume because you want to look at it again.
5. Use the search or magnifying glass icon in the upper-right corner to search for candidates by name.
6. Tick the boxes next to the chosen candidate's name, and the Change status option becomes available.

Candidate status options

• Reviewed: You looked at this candidate’s resume. You can add notes or send them a message.
• Contacting: You are in contact with this candidate or setting up interviews.
• Rejected: You are not moving forward with this candidate, and they will be notified. Learn more about rejecting candidates.
• Hired: You chose this candidate for the job. Marking them as hired helps you understand hiring costs.

What it is

A shortlist is a group of top candidates that you want to learn more about. These are people who might be a good match for your job.

How it works

1. Sign in to your account and navigate to the candidates tab.
2. Filter candidates by using the search and filter options.
3. Tick the boxes next to the chosen candidate's name.
4. Click the tick under the ‘Interested?’ column to add them to your shortlist.
