Optimising campaigns to fill vacancies
ScotJobs Net partnered with Indeed to keep its regional job postings high in the search results, both on general search engines and on Indeed. Sponsoring their jobs with Indeed ensured that hard-to-fill positions could be easily accessed by a targeted audience searching for jobs in Scotland.
“We’ve had the majority of our jobs on Indeed, including some tricky jobs in the area of Optical which Indeed assisted us with,” Shannon said.
By using Indeed’s Bid Optimiser to sponsor jobs, ScotJobs Net was able to set spend targets then let the Indeed technology automatically adjust cost per click to provide the most traffic for its budget.
“Indeed has been very effective at monitoring data to flag the vacancies which didn’t get much response,” Shannon said. “They ensure that the specialised or tricky roles are given more prominence.”
Exponential growth in job seeker traffic
Year over year, Indeed has quadrupled the traffic to ScotJobs Net while also increasing the exposure level per job by 155%. By working closely with Indeed to adjust and test different feeds, the client ensured that more jobs received unique clicks. “With our increased investment, traffic from Indeed has grown throughout this year,” Shannon said. The result has been more traffic to their jobs overall, not just to a few roles.
