- Full time, 12-month fixed term opportunity for a HR Partnering professional to provide strategic HR expertise and advice in support of your client’s business objectives and the University’s strategy
- Collaborate with the other HR Centres of Expertise to deliver an integrated service offering to the Faculty of Medicine and Health
- Base Salary $152,045 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
We are seeking an experienced HR Partner to support key leaders in the Faculty of Medicine and Health to deliver key strategic initiatives aligned to HR objectives and the University of Sydney 2032 strategy. Instilling your solutions-focused approach, you will deploy strategic, contemporary HR expertise enabling the delivery of world-class educational and research outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- collaborate across HR Centres of Expertise to design and deliver integrated, client-focused solutions
- Partner with executive leaders to develop and implement strategic people solutions across workforce planning, organisational design, culture and performance.
- act as the change lead for your client base to support the delivery of workforce strategies aligned to business objectives
- provide expert advice on employment frameworks, policy, risk and compliance matters
- use workforce insights and stakeholder engagement to influence decision making and improve desired outcomes
- support the Senior Manager and Associate Director in building HR capability through coaching, mentoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
About you
- extensive experience as a HR professional within a large and multifaceted organisation (ideally within a tertiary environment or within a Centre of Expertise model)
- experience providing HR support within medical, health or allied health industries is highly desirable
- change management and project delivery experience across various HR capabilities and processes
- a high degree of capability working with and interpreting complex Industrial elements, enterprise agreements, awards and relevant policies
- elevated ability to build and manage trusted client relationships with tact and professionalism at the senior level
- exceptional partnering skills as you will be liaising with the wider HR Partnering team and other HR functions to ensure a collaborative and consistent approach to service delivery
- highly developed influencing skills in relation to external stakeholders, including government bodies, union groups and university sector groups to drive positive outcomes in the interest of the University.
