Mater Private Hospital Springfield (MPHS) is searching for experienced Support Services professionals to join the team as Assistants on a flexible, casual basis.
About the role
The Support Services team are a welcoming and friendly team, consisting of many ages and cultures who work as a collaborative in a variety of areas, including Housekeeping and Cleaning, Waste Services, Linen Services, Equipment Delivery/Collection/Cleaning and Orderly/Porterage Services. All of our valuable team members will have the opportunity to work across these areas, and must be interchangeable at all times, and you must be willing to work night shifts as part of your roster.
Please note, these roles will fill gaps (holiday leave, sick leave etc) in a rotating roster which will include night shift, 10pm until 6am, day shift and weekend shifts - Please only apply if you are available to work all of these shifts to suitably fulfil the manager’s requirements.
Salary range: $21.60 - $23.68 (Private Support Services Employee Level 1) per hour plus superannuation
About you
To ensure our new team member can hit the ground running and contribute immediately, you will have significant experience in one or more of the functions as listed above. We are looking for flexibility in your approach and willingness to contribute in all support areas; an eager contributor who is able to prioritise and organise your personal workload, whilst assisting your team to achieve. As you will frequently be around patients, you will be an effective communicator with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
The primary requirement of this role, in addition to above, is flexibility. We need team members who are willing and able to participate in a variety of rostered shifts, possibly at short notice.
