Our Early Years Centre is a hub for families with free drop-in infant health services, supported playgroups and family and parenting support to enable children to live their best life.

About the role

As our Early Childhood Educator, you will develop and facilitate child-centred, culturally sensitive and developmentally appropriate programs that meet the needs, interests and strengths of children (0-8) and families attending our play programs, specialist groups and parenting programs. You will work collaboratively with families and colleagues to identify strengths, increase capacity for resilience and promote positive family relationships.

What you need to succeed?

As an experienced Early Childhood Educator, you will have a:
Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent

A commitment to play based approaches with a focus on building parent-child relationships to improve the long-term outcomes for children

The ability to develop and maintain positive and culturally respectful relationships

Experience in working with and supporting vulnerable families

Great people skills and the ability to create strong working relationships with people from all walks of life
