Casual Childcare Assistants needed! Work within a supportive team environment in Mater’s amazing childcare facility.
About the role
Mater Childcare is seeking application from enthusiastic Assistant Educators to work on a casual basis within our amazing facility on site at the Mater hospital campus in South Brisbane. A number of positions are available on a casual basis from Monday to Friday, working on a roster between 6:15am - 6:00pm. A minimum availability of 3 days per week is required from our casual staff.
Our teams pride themselves on the high level of care provided, and we require all our staff to demonstrate a high level of initiative, be highly motivated and a strong team player. Further, you will possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, along with the ability to liaise with children, parents and staff across all levels.

Salary range: $20.13 - $22.66 (Children Services Level 3) per hour plus superannuation plus casual loading
What you’ll be doing
As an Educator Assistant, your role is to contribute to providing high quality care to the children attending Mater Childcare with a focus on continual improvement. You will work closely to support the Educator in providing children with opportunities to plan, prepare and participate in learning experiences, projects and programs.
About you

To be considered for this role it is essential that you hold:
Current Certificate III in Children Services or have commenced studying towards this qualification
Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
