About the role

You will be an experienced professional driven by challenges of a multi-tasked role. You will be responsible for providing case management services to assist households in crisis to access and sustain housing. Your primary focus will be to assess the needs of potential clients and provide solutions based on individual circumstances. You will compile statistical data, implement strategies for identified issues and work with internal and external services to develop robust support networks. In this role your area of responsibility will include Brisbane North and Logan areas with a requirement to work 3 days a week or 45 hours per fortnight.

About you

You can clearly demonstrate empathy, compassion and understanding towards individuals who are in need of housing. You have the ability to easily establish and build rapport with people in addition to being naturally caring. You are approachable with positive solutions based strategies for individuals who experience crisis situations. You can effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with stakeholders at all levels whilst working within a strict legislative environment. Your experience and qualifications for the role should include:

A Community service diploma or other equivalent community services qualification;

Knowledge & experience in housing case management or other client service roles;

Ability to effectively operate windows applications at an intermediate level;

A current National Police Certificate and Blue Card;

Ability to work 3 days a week or 45 hours per fortnight.
