Your new role

Based in Narangba, QLD, this full time position will join a team responsible for the maintenance of all aspects of our vehicles and equipment associated, including all major and minor mechanical repairs. As the successful applicant, you will ensure equipment is maintained to meet supplier requirements through greasing, oil changes, and lubrication, heavy vehicle inspections and on site repairs. You will carry out scheduled preventative maintenance services, perform fault diagnosis to detect mechanical and electrical faults, and test drive and/or operate equipment to ensure repair has been completed correctly. You will also ensure all tools and equipment are stored clean and correctly, and ensure all paperwork and records are completed accurately, as required.

Your skills and experience

The successful candidate will ideally have a Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical - Heavy Vehicle, along with a HR licence, mechanical aptitude, a strong customer service ethic, a strong commitment to safety, and a willingness to work as part of a team. Experience in the waste industry will be highly regarded.
