Position Summary

Personal Care Worker

WMQ’s Community Care Program at Chermside currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Personal Care Worker to join their team on a casual basis (with the view of becoming permanent). Our Community Care Program provides innovative, home-based care services to a variety of clients with individual needs.

This role is primarily responsible for providing quality care services to clients in their own homes in accordance with their care plan.

Key Responsibilities May Include:
Personal care (showering/dressing)

Continence management

Assistance with meals

Domestic duties


Assistance with transport for medical appointments

Social activities

Carer support

In home respite care and access to other services and any other tasks as stated in the care plan.

The successful applicant will be able to work with minimum supervision and be adaptable and flexible within their availability. As this role requires travelling to client premises, a current Drivers Licence and willingness to travel in the course of work is essential.

Car and fuel provisions may be provided where appropriate.
