Your responsibilities will include

Operating a tractor or ride-on-mower and undertaking horticultural and general park maintenance activities, including mowing, landscape maintenance, turf management, trimming, pruning, weed control, mulching and planting. You will assist with routine and unscheduled inspections and reporting of council's open space assets to ensure all parks, gardens, road and bushland reserve surfaces, park equipment and structures are maintained in safe working condition.

To be successful in this role you must possess

A MR class licence (or higher), current AC/DC Herbicide Application certification and experience in operating large mowing equipment and tractors. You will have the demonstrated working knowledge of parks and gardens maintenance tasks and the physical fitness to safely perform the manual aspects of this role.

Work Location

Please note that whilst the current work location for this position is specified above, staff may be required to transfer to any of council's work locations with notice. Council currently has administration offices located at Caboolture, Strathpine and Redcliffe as well as depots, libraries and a range of other facilities located throughout the region.
