Overview:
To deliver and administer training to participants as part of training delivery of MAX Solutions training program whilst complying with all of MAX Solutions’ Registered Training Organisation’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
  • Provision of support to job seekers and external trainees (when applicable), to achieve successful completion of their training by;
  • Delivering face to face in the classroom and supervision during Vocational Placements in accordance with TAS and agreed delivery schedule
  • Training, mentoring, support and feedback of submitted work and assessments for internal or external students in accordance with TAS and delivery schedule
  • Submission of all documents including student file notes for external trainees for processing to Corporate Training Administration team
  • Assessment and provision of student feedback of all submitted work
  • Ensuring compliance with MAX Solutions’ training policies and procedures at all times
  • Communication with employers/supervisors of students to co-ordinate workplace visits and provide feedback on students
  • Provision of feedback and any recommendations to Resource Developer to ensure up to date and quality resources are being used
  • Participation in moderation and validation processes as required by the Compliance Manager
  • Maintain professional industry and vocational currency and update trainer records as required at all times
Key Result Areas:
  • Achievement of minimum 80% completion rate of all students
  • Report any student withdrawals/cancellations to Corporate Training Administration team within 24 hours of this occurring
  • Ensuring of submission of all Trainer Assessment materials/documentation to Corporate Training by the last day of each working week of training delivery
  • Achieve of 90% of all student survey responses saying that they are ‘very satisfied’ or somewhat satisfied’ with the overall training quality
  • Reporting student complaints if received on the same day as they arise within the complaints reporting system
Key Result Area 1: Delivery of training and undertaking assessments and provision of documentation
  • To deliver quality training and assessment to job seekers or trainees (when applicable) in accordance with training package requirements and all Standards
  • To deliver quality training and assessment to job seekers or trainees (when applicable) in accordance with training package requirements and all Standards
  • Where needed, provide individual support to learner including advice on support services and implementation of learner support strategies that will lead to successful completion of training
  • Ensure compliance at all times with MAX Solutions’ training policies and procedures
  • Involvement and participation in MAX Solutions Training meetings, professional development sessions and moderation and validation sessions and functions as required
  • Other duties as directed
Job holder is successful when:
  • All student assessments are up to date and submitted within the required timeframes
  • Completion of all Vocational Placement documentations within required time frames

Key Challenges:
  • Maintaining engagement of students and trainees (where applicable) throughout the training delivery
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key MAX site staff and employers during the training delivery and Vocational Placements.

Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • TAE40110 – Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is essential for this role
  • Previous experience working as a Trainer and Assessor
  • Demonstrated vocational qualifications to the level of those being delivered and/or assessed or have relevant industry experience that will demonstrate your experience and knowledge in the filed of training that you are delivering in
  • Experience in planning, co-ordinating and facilitating meetings, forums and planning days
  • Current drivers licence.
