Full job description
Come and join our small, dynamic therapy team at Neuro Logic Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy.
We provide specialist therapy to people living with neurological conditions.
You will be working within our team to carry out therapy programs under the supervision and guidance of our Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. Therapy Assistance work is all about supporting our clients in achieving their therapy goals, maintaining their independence, and assisting with meaningful activities to enhance their lives. You will be required to provide therapy within our clinic setting, clients’ homes and local community, providing exercise based programs, recreational and daily living activities, as directed by the Physio or Occupational Therapist.
About the Role
- Work collaboratively within our team to carry out exercise and therapy plans within our clinic or at clients homes, local recreation centre (eg gym) or pool
- Carry out small group activities in our Burswood clinic
- Participate in the organisation and planning of therapy programs
- Assist clinicians with clients in the clinic when needed
- Assist the team in maintain a clean clinical environment during the work day
- Communicate with the team regarding care provided to clients on an ongoing basis to ensure activities and care provided is consistent with changing client needs
- Possess excellent time management and organisational skills
- Complete accurate documentation in line with relevant guidelines
Essential Requirements
- Cert III in Allied Health Assistance as a minimum
- Demonstrated experience in providing therapeutic supports and/or mobility/occupational and/or cognitive therapies.
- A current Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable car
- Current Senior First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NDIS worker screening completed prior to commencement
- Up to date vaccinations (COVID-19 and influenza)

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $45,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
