CENTRE MANAGER:

Happy Hippo Kindergarten and Childcare has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional professional to join our Leadership Team in the role of Centre Manager at our 110 Place service.

Our service provides early childhood education and care for up to 110 children per day. Your prior leadership experience in the early childhood sector, along with a proven track record of effective and efficient management and marketing will be of great advantage when leading and guiding our team of dedicated educators to fulfill the purpose and vision of Happy Hippo Group, and to aim towards exceeding in the national frameworks, while providing for the education and care needs of children and families.

We are seeking applications from suitably qualified, enthusiastic and passionate professionals who have previous management experience in a large, long day care service. Your strong communication and leadership skills, and strength-based approach will compliment this highly regarded role. You will pose excellent organizational skills, a sound understanding of the National Quality Standards and the Victorian Early Years Learning & Development Framework, along with your desire to make a positive difference to the lives of children, will place you in good stead for this role.

To be considered for this excellent role, we require the following criteria:

  • Minimum three years' experience in a similar role
  • Appropriate and recognized qualifications (minimum Diploma in Children's Services)
  • VIT Teachers Registration (bonus)
  • Valid Working with Children Check and current Police Clearance
  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • Acceptance of undertaking a medical clearance
  • Strength in marketing to build the occupancy of your service.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good team building and leadership skills.
  • Good time management.
  • Sound knowledge of VELYF & NSQ
  • The right to work in Australia.
