With NOMAD Sydney as its foundation, the group ventured into the Melbourne dining scene, bringing with it the same passion for exceptional food experiences and sustainability ethos. This connection to NOMAD Sydney provides a sense of continuity and heritage, while also allowing NOMAD Melbourne to carve out its own identity within the local dining scene.

Inspiration pulled from travels through Spain, Morocco, and the Middle East paired with a strong belief that Australia, and even more so Greater Victoria, has some of the world's best produce, is what has shaped the venue's identity.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking talented Commis Chefs & Demi Chefs to join the team at NOMAD Melbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity for an eager chef to join a professional kitchen, dedicated to the development of their team.

Our ideal candidates will have

• At least 2+ years experience in casual or premium dining kitchens
• Knowledge of Middle Eastern cuisine and techniques advantageous but not necessary
• Commitment, passion and appreciation for the hospitality industry
• Ability to work autonomously while treating guests and peers with respect, humility and kindness
• Availability to work a rotating roster
