The Role

As a Front of House Team Member at Sweet Belem Barangaroo, you’ll be part of a small team delivering warm, efficient service in a fast-paced bakery and café environment.

This role is an opportunity to be part of the opening team — helping shape service culture, customer experience, and daily standards from day one.

Focusing on:

• Customer service and product knowledge
• Coffee and drinks service
• Point of sale and cash handling
• Presentation and cleanliness of the front of house
• Smooth service during peak periods
• Creating a calm, welcoming store environment

This is a real hospitality role, but in a clean, organised, quality-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

• Provide warm, professional customer service
• Take orders accurately and confidently through the POS
• Serve pastries, cakes, coffee, and drinks to brand standard
• Maintain clean and well-presented front counters, cabinets, and seating areas
• Replenish stock and monitor product presentation throughout service
• Work efficiently during busy trade periods
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen and wider team
• Support opening, closing, and daily setup/pack-down routines

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in hospitality, café, bakery, or customer service roles
• Barista experience is an advantage.
• Friendly and professional manner
• Good pace and attention to detail
• Pride in presentation and cleanliness
• Comfortable working in a small, tight-knit team
• Calm under pressure
• Willingness to learn and improve

Experience in premium cafés or bakeries is great — but attitude matters more.

Hours

• Trading: Mon–Sat 7am–9pm, Sun 7am–6pm
• Shifts typically 6–8 hours
• Full-time, part-time, and casual options available

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
