Jasmin1 is one of Sydney’s most well-loved Lebanese restaurants, renowned for its generous, authentic dishes and warm hospitality. With a loyal customer base and a proud reputation for quality, we’re now looking for a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen at our Liverpool location.

The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Head Chef who will bring leadership, creativity, and consistency to our kitchen. You will oversee the day-to-day operations, manage and inspire the team, and ensure that every plate reflects the high standards Jasmin1 is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food and service.
• Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation across all menu items.
• Oversee stock management, ordering, and cost control.
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to.
• Work closely with management on menu planning, seasonal specials, and operational improvements.
• Foster a positive and productive team environment.

About You

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a busy, high-volume kitchen (Middle Eastern cuisine experience highly regarded).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Passion for authentic, quality food and the ability to maintain consistency.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Understanding of food cost control and kitchen operations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
