Join Our Team as a Surveyor or Junior Surveyor!
EHS Setouts and Surveys is a reputable company in the surveying industry, working with award-winning clients across Victoria in the Cadastral, Residential, Commercial, and Civil sectors. We specialize in construction setouts, title re-establishment and cadastral surveys, working with major builders and developers daily. Established in 1992 as Eastern House Setouts, we have over 30 years of experience delivering accurate and high-quality survey solutions. As a family-run business, we take pride in our precision, strong client relationships, and commitment to innovation.
We are currently seeking a Surveyor or Junior Surveyor to join our team full-time. This role will involve fieldwork across Victoria, with the ability to travel to our office in Chirnside Park, VIC 3116.

About the Role:
As a Surveyor or Junior Surveyor, you will play a vital role in conducting precise construction setouts across Victoria. You will be responsible for site setouts, levels and relevant surveying tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. This role offers hands-on experience with a range of projects, making it ideal for a junior surveyor looking to develop their skills or an experienced surveyor seeking a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cadastral and construction setout surveys using total stations and relevant equipment
- Ensure compliance with survey regulations and project requirements
- Collaborate with builders, developers, and site supervisors to deliver precise survey data
- Prepare and maintain accurate survey records and reports
- Adhere to workplace safety standards and industry regulations
Requirements:
- Degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in Surveying or Geospatial Science (or working towards one)
- Experience in cadastral and/or construction surveying (preferred but not essential for junior applicants)
- Proficiency with survey equipment (Total Station, GNSS, AutoCAD, or surveying software)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret survey plans and land titles
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to conduct fieldwork
- Located in Melbourne and able to travel to our office in Chirnside Park, 3116.
