TBSSINC is seeking a dedicated Casual Program Support Officer to join our team. Working under the guidance of our Programs Manager, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to ensure our disability support program runs smoothly. This role commences at 15 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours through direct service delivery as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling & Rostering: Support the management of team and participant schedules to ensure timely, seamless service delivery.
- On-Call Support: Participate in an on-call roster, including one weekend per month, to manage after-hours support worker rostering changes and respond to operational requirements as needed.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate participant files and program documentation, including intake documentation, onboarding of new participants, and ongoing service records.
- Intake & Participant Coordination: Support the intake process, including initial enquiries, service setup, onboarding, and conducting follow-up check-ins to monitor satisfaction and gather feedback.
- Direct Support: Assist the Programs Manager with daily operations, including participant reviews, program logistics, and administrative tasks.
- Flexibility in Service Delivery: Be able to fill in for direct service delivery when required. Additional direct support shifts may increase overall wages.
- Collaborative Communication: Maintain high-level communication with colleagues to ensure smooth handovers and consistent service delivery.
Essential Criteria
- Qualifications & Compliance: Certificate III in Individual Support, NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, First Aid & CPR, and Australian work rights.
- NDIS & Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of NDIS Standards, HSQF, Child Safe Standards, and National Principles.
- Experience: Extensive experience in administration and support roles within the disability and community services sectors.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and demonstrated experience using client management systems, specifically Brevity Software.
- Communication Skills: Highly developed written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to prepare accurate documentation and communicate clearly and effectively with participants, families, and stakeholders.
- Organisational & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and proactively solve challenges.
- Empathy & Compassion: Commitment to person-centered, compassionate support for people with disabilities.
