About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Speech Therapist to join our dynamic team. This role involves working with NDIS participants of all ages, supporting them in developing their communication and swallowing skills. You will provide assessment, intervention, and therapy services that align with the needs and goals of each individual.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments.
• Develop and implement personalised therapy plans tailored to individual NDIS goals.
• Provide evidence-based intervention for communication difficulties, including speech delays, articulation, fluency, voice disorders, and alternative communication methods.
• Work collaboratively with clients, families, caregivers, and support workers to ensure holistic care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with NDIS requirements.
• Offer recommendations and education to clients and their support networks to enhance communication skills in everyday settings.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions and contribute to collaborative care planning.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:
✅ Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech Therapist.
✅ Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
✅ Membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and CPSP status.
✅ Experience with NDIS participants (preferred but not essential).
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and families.
✅ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
✅ Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check.
✅ ABN, Professional Indemnity, and Public Liability Insurance.
✅ Reliable transport and willingness to travel for client visits (if required).

Pay: From $90.00 per hour
