Open Water Scuba Instructor

We're seeking a passionate SDI Scuba Instructor to join our dynamic team. If you possess excellent instructional skills, a deep knowledge of scuba diving, and a commitment to safety, we want to hear from you! Please note applicants must be registered with SDI or be willing to complete an instructor crossover.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct scuba diving courses according to SDI standards and guidelines.
• Teach and supervise students during pool sessions and open water dives.
• Deliver engaging classroom lectures on dive theory, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to enhance their diving skills.
• Maintain accurate student records, certification paperwork, and equipment logs.
• Promote safe diving practices and environmental awareness.
• Assist with store duties.

Qualifications

• Current SDI OWSDI certification or equivalent.
• First Aid, CPR, and Oxygen Provider certifications (current or willing to obtain).
• Proven experience teaching scuba diving courses, including Open Water, Advanced, and Rescue Diver certifications.
• Excellent knowledge of dive theory, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for scuba diving and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of local dive sites and marine life (preferred).
