ABOUT THE POSITION

This is a full-time position that requires qualified and experienced truck driving (Hiab, flat-beds etc) and manual loading/labouring capabilities. You will be responsible for transporting scrap metal material from local businesses, homes and other various locations, including metro and even regional work. This position requires being able to work unsupervised and part of a team when in the workshop. Knowledge of scrap metal is desirable, however not essential, as you will learn and receive on the job training.

ABOUT YOU

- Able to communicate clearly with clients and other co-workers

- Current HR Manual Licence

- Forklift Licence (desirable)

- Police Clearance

- Ability to perform manual tasks

- Knowledge of scrap metal (desirable but not essential)

- Experience with hand and power tools (desirable but not essential)

- Ability to work unsupervised

- Commitment to health and safety

- Ability to attain and retain fitness for work (including clear DRUG and ALCOHOL Screens)

- Have the right to work in Australia
