Southern City Bathroom Renovations – Bunbury, WA

Southern City Bathroom Renovations is a well-established, family-owned business based in Bunbury, Western Australia. We provide end-to-end renovation services for residential and commercial projects, including new builds and renovations.

We are seeking two skilled and experienced Joiners to join our team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

• Interpret technical drawings, work orders and specifications to determine joinery requirements, materials, dimensions and installation methods.
• Select and prepare suitable materials, including solid timber, veneers, particleboard, laminates and engineered wood products.
• Manufacture and assemble custom joinery products, including kitchens, bathroom cabinetry, wardrobes, built-in furniture and related timber fittings.
• Measure, mark, cut, shape, machine and finish timber and manufactured board using woodworking machinery, power tools and hand tools.
• Fit and install completed joinery, cabinetry, benchtops, hardware and associated fixtures on-site.
• Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions to ensure joinery is manufactured and fitted to precise specifications.
• Repair, modify and maintain existing joinery, cabinetry and timber fittings as required.
• Ensure all joinery work meets quality standards, project specifications and workplace health and safety requirements..

Working Hours

• Ordinary hours are Monday to Friday
• Work is generally scheduled between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm, by agreement
• Employees are expected to manage their time effectively to meet agreed deadlines and communicate any variations as required

Remuneration and Benefits

• Annual salary starting from AUD $76,515, inclusive of four weeks’ paid annual leave
• Fully maintained company vehicle provided
• All tools and personal protective equipment supplied
• Superannuation contributions paid in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992

Role Requirements

• Availability to work Monday to Friday
• A minimum of three (3) years’ relevant work experience in joinery
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Work visa sponsorship may be available for suitable candidates
• Expected commencement: Immediate, subject to availability

Job Type: Full-time
