Loan Support Officer

We’re looking for a Loan Support Officer to deliver high-quality post-settlement support and exceptional customer outcomes.

Role Overview

The Loan Support Officer (LSO) supports the Loan Support Team and Senior Loans Support Manager to deliver high-quality, customer-focused service across all post-settlement activities.

This role is responsible for handling customer enquiries within defined service level agreements (SLAs), maintaining accurate loan records, and ensuring seamless administration across the loan lifecycle.

It’s a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment — balancing volume, accuracy and customer care, while contributing to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage post-settlement enquiries (phone & email) within SLA
  • Process loan variations, discharges and documentation updates
  • Maintain accurate loan and system records
  • Support construction loans and progress drawdowns
  • Assist customers and brokers with enquiries and transactions
  • Ensure compliance with AML/CTF and internal policies

About You

  • Experience in financial services, ideally in residential/commercial lending
  • At least 1 year customer service experience in credit or lending environments
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Solid systems capability across core banking systems, Outlook and Excel
  • Understanding of financial services legislation and lending practices
