About the role

Temporary opportunity to function as a member of the team in the provision of sterilisation services under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Assist in the provision of nursing and midwifery team support and for delegated actions in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) Decision Making Framework.
Function in accordance with legislation when undertaking activities as delegated to provide an environment and care that is safe and relevant for individuals and groups.
Contribute to the effective coordination of sterilisation services for the Surgical, Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS) in the provision of safe quality care.
