We are a NATA-accredited laboratory servicing Environmental Consultants, Mines, Occupational Hygienists, Government Departments, Industry, and the general public by providing great service and quality.

About the Role

We are currently looking for a Laboratory Assistant on a casual basis to join our team at our brand-new Perth facility, located in Canning Vale. This modern laboratory and office space offers the latest technology, on-site parking, and contemporary amenities designed for comfort and efficiency.

This is an entry-level position with flexible hours from Monday to Friday, ideally between 8 am and 7 pm (minimum 30 hours per week availability is preferred).

The role is physically active and hands-on, involving moderate lifting and manual handling. It’s a great opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in laboratory work within a supportive and safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate laboratory machinery, including the LM2 Pulverising Mill and Jaw Crusher
  • Crush and pulverise rock and concrete samples for analysis
  • Perform sample sorting, weighing, and splitting
  • Carry out initial pH measurements
  • Support general lab prep activities as required
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and manage waste disposal
Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and PPE requirements

Skills and Experiences:
About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A team player with good communication skills
BSc or Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques is advantageous but not required
