Assembler - Production Hand

About the company:

Australian owned industry leader in the manufacturing of commercial doors and paneling offering turn-key solutions for design, manufacturing, installation and servicing across all industries. Number one supplier of adaptive space systems for over 50 years!
We are looking for an assembler to join the form team putting together timber and aluminium framework related to bi-fold paneling, walls and doors. Spacious, clean working environment, long term position on offer.

Please note that this position will start as casual full time moving to permanent

Key responsibilities:
  • Assembly of pre-drilled aluminum, timber and glass framework paneling
  • Reading from working drawings
  • Operating and maintaining hand/power/air tools
  • Assembly of rubber seals into paneling and doors where required
  • Forklift operation(if licensed)



Requirements

Key Requirements:
  • Factory manufacturing knowledge/experience
  • Good understanding of hand/power/air tools
  • Ability to read working instruction/drawings
  • Assembly dexterity
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
