    About the Opportunity

Due to consistent growth across our business, we are now seeking a Hydraulic Technician to join our highly motivated team, located in Mount Isa, North West Queensland 4825.

We are seeking people that have transferable skills. If you are a desiel fitter, auto fitter, air frame fitter, or motor mechanic and looking for a new path in a specialized field - become a hydraulic technician with ISADraulics.

Your responsibilities in this role will include;

  • Repair and overhaul hydraulic cylinders used in a variety of applications
    Strip, measure, inspect and report on all Hydraulic components
  • Cleaning and preparing components
  • Assemble and testing of hydraulic Components
  • Attend and participate in toolbox talks
  • Ensuring a safe and tidy workspace is maintained
    • Works on various types of equipment with Hydraulics.

About You

To be considered for this position, you will possess;

  • Relevant trade qualifications (Fitter, Hydraulics)
  • Hydraulic Components and hydraulic cylinder repair knowledge and experience
  • Experience in strip and inspect reporting (critical measurements, parts identification & information gathering)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s licence and demonstrated safety first mind-set
  • Strong want to be a part of a team and supportive of those around you.
This position offers an attractive pay rate based on your qualifications, experience and accomplishments. Relocation packages are also on offer for candidates who may be looking to move to move to Mount Isa.

  • Local candidates preferred, however FIFO from Brisbane/Townsville/Cairns available for the right, experienced applicant.
