Position Summary
Simplus is seeking an experienced ICT Support and Test Engineer to support, maintain, test, and optimize enterprise technology solutions and business applications. The role will be responsible for ensuring application stability, quality assurance, issue resolution, and seamless operation of technology platforms supporting client and internal business functions. The successful candidate will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to ensure systems perform effectively and align with operational and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide application and technical support for enterprise systems and business-critical solutions.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure timely resolution.
- Design, prepare, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts across functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing phases.
- Conduct manual and automated testing activities to validate system functionality and performance.
- Identify, log, track, and manage defects through to closure while ensuring root cause analysis is completed where required.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, and business teams to understand requirements and validate expected outcomes.
- Support deployment activities, release management, and post-implementation validation.
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing application maintenance activities.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including support procedures, test evidence, reports, and user guidance material.
- Assist with incident management, change management, and problem management processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing system quality, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
- Work within Agile and project delivery methodologies while ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in application support, system testing, or ICT support engineering roles.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.
- Experience in test planning, test execution, defect management, and reporting.
- Exposure to enterprise applications, cloud technologies, and business systems support.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and software development lifecycle practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting CRM platforms and cloud-based enterprise solutions.
- Exposure to Salesforce ecosystem support and testing activities.
- Knowledge of automation testing tools and release management practices.
- Understanding of IT service management principles and support processes.
