Trainee Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a motivated and caring Trainee Early Childhood Educator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about working with children while gaining hands-on experience and completing formal training in Early Childhood Education and Care.

About the Role

As a Trainee Early Childhood Educator, you will support experienced educators in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children. You will learn daily routines, assist with educational activities, and help create positive experiences that support children’s development and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist educators in delivering quality early childhood programs
  • Support children’s learning, play, and development
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
  • Follow centre policies, procedures, and child safety standards
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities

About You

  • Genuine passion for working with young children
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, caring, and professional manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Essential Requirements

  • Must be willing to undertake or currently studying a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) if over 18yrs
  • First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain)
