Full job description
Shadow Baking is a high end bakery in Sydney, founded by three chefs from Gelato Messina.
We produce a constantly changing, handcrafted range of viennoiserie and serve a small creative breakfast menu at our Marrickville location (Messina HQ) on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. We are looking for an experienced Chef to oversee our breakfast kitchen.
This role is responsible for the consistent production and exceptional quality of all breakfast menu items, while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation. You will also be responsible for monitoring inventory, ordering supplies as required, managing food costs and minimising waste.
The successful candidate will have experience working in a busy cafe environment, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Full Australian work rights are required.
