A Platform Engineer builds and maintains the internal systems, infrastructure, and developer platforms that help software teams ship applications reliably and efficiently. The role often sits between software engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and SRE (Site Reliability Engineering).

Typical Responsibilities

Design and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Build CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments

Maintain Kubernetes and container platforms

Improve system reliability, scalability, and security

Create internal developer tools and self-service platforms

Monitor performance, logging, and incident response

Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform

Collaborate with software developers and security teams

Pay: $9,000.00 – $13,000.00 per month
