Painter / Trade Assistant

• 38 hour week (Mon - Fri)
• Based at Gepps Cross
• On site parking

We are seeking a Painter for our Service Operations Centre at Gepps Cross. The successful applicant will have industrial spray painting experience, a high level of determination, work well in a team and have the ability to step up and assist qualified technicians with a range of duties as required.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Paint and wash machines / components to required standard;
• Assist with build up / repairs on machinery as directed;
• Complete appropriate documentation and ensure accuracy of parts ordering;
• Work to ensure compliance with all safety and contamination control guidelines.

Skills and experience:

• Automotive / Industrial spray painting experience;
• Ability to comprehend technical data / service manuals;
• Mechanical aptitude;
• Current drivers licence essential, forklift licence highly desirable;
• Basic computer skills.
