Tea Republic is a premium brew-to-order bubble tea brand with multiple locations across Sydney. We are passionate about quality tea, exceptional customer experiences, and building a strong community around our brand.

We're looking for a creative and motivated Marketing & Content Creation Assistant to help grow our social media presence and create engaging content that drives customers into our stores.

This role is perfect for someone who already creates content, manages their own social media channels, and understands what makes people stop scrolling and take action.

About the Role

You will work across our Tea Republic locations on a flexible casual basis, creating content and supporting our marketing initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Filming short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other social media platforms
• Taking high-quality product, lifestyle and in-store photos
• Creating and editing Reels, Stories and social media posts
• Capturing new product launches, promotions and behind-the-scenes content
• Assisting with content planning and social media management
• Monitoring social media trends and suggesting creative campaign ideas
• Working with store teams to create engaging and authentic content
• Assisting with influencer collaborations and community marketing activities
• Supporting the promotion of new stores, campaigns and special events

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience creating content for social media
• Actively manages their own social media account, channel or portfolio
• Understands Instagram, TikTok and current social media trends
• Has strong photography and videography skills
• Is confident filming, directing and editing content
• Has experience using tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar
• Has a creative eye and strong attention to detail
• Can work independently and bring fresh ideas to the team
• Is reliable, organised and able to work across multiple Sydney locations

Equipment Requirements

Applicants must have access to their own content creation equipment, including:

• Smartphone and/or camera capable of producing high-quality content
• Editing software and tools required for content creation

5. Content Creation Challenge

Create ONE piece of content promoting Tea Republic Barangaroo.

This can be any of the following:

• An Instagram Reel concept
• A TikTok video concept
• An Instagram Story series
• A social media post
• A short promotional video
• A graphic or flyer
• A storyboard or mock-up

Your content should be designed to encourage customers to visit the Barangaroo store.
