We're currently seeking an experienced and reliable Steel Fixer to join our team across Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, bend, and tie reinforcing steel to specification.
  • Assemble reinforcement cages for precast concrete panels.
  • Position and secure steel reinforcement within panel moulds.
  • Operate steel fixing tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Work closely with production and yard teams to meet manufacturing deadlines.

Skills & Experience

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience as a Steel Fixer, Reinforcing Steel Worker, or in a similar role.
  • Ability to read and understand construction or engineering drawings.
  • Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour.
  • Sound understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
  • White Card
  • Reliable transport and a strong work ethic.
