Full job description

This role involves fabrication, welding, repairs, and maintenance of metal structures in workshop and site-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components
  • Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to industry standards
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols
  • Operate hand tools, grinders, cutting equipment, and machinery
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards
  • Conduct quality checks and report defects or structural issues
  • Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines

Requirements

  • Trade qualification as a Welder / Fabricator
  • Demonstrated experience in fabrication and welding
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • White Card (preferred but not required depending on assignment)
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
  • Full working rights in Australia

Pay: $35.00 – $38.00 per hour
