A Data Systems Analyst is an IT and business professional who analyzes data systems, improves workflows, and helps organizations use technology and data more effectively.

Typical Job Description

Main Responsibilities

Analyze and manage databases, software systems, and business data

Gather business requirements from users and stakeholders

Design and improve data workflows and reporting systems

Create dashboards and reports using tools like SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Excel

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues

Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance

Work with IT teams, developers, and management to implement system upgrades

Document processes and provide user training

Pay: $6,700.00 – $9,200.00 per month
