Full-Time Chef

V Thai by Rice on Me – Windsor, NSW

V Thai by Rice on Me is looking for an experienced and passionate Full-Time Chef to join our team in Windsor, NSW.

Salary: $75,000–$80,000 per year + superannuation

Key Responsibilities

• Plan menus and develop new dishes.
• Prepare and cook authentic Thai cuisine.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and food safety.
• Monitor food and labour costs and manage kitchen stock.
• Order supplies and check deliveries.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff.
• Ensure customer dietary and allergy requirements are met.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations and food presentation.
• Assist with catering and special events.
• Prepare staff rosters and support kitchen management.

Requirements

• A Diploma of Hospitality Management or an equivalent trade qualification.
• At least 3 years of full-time work experience as a Chef.
• Experience preparing authentic Thai cuisine is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good communication, teamwork and organisational skills.

Employment Details

• Full-time, permanent position
• Salary: $75,000–$80,000 per year plus superannuation
• Based in Windsor, NSW
• Weekend and public holiday work may be required.
