Bathers' Pavilion is Sydney's most iconic beachside restaurant, located at Balmoral Beach, just 20 minutes from the city. It operates with a fine dining Restaurant, a busy upmarket Bistro, a Thai Restaurant, a Function Room, a takeaway Kiosk and an Art Gallery.

We are looking for a friendly, experienced Bartender who is passionate about the industry. You'll be working in a fast-paced but fun environment.


Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Beverage Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Execute smooth and flawless operation of the Bar and great drinks.
  • Develop a complete working knowledge of the menu items and their ingredients and preparation.
  • Adhere to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
  • Ensure that all details of service are performed to ensure every guest receives the highest quality of service.
  • Assist with creating and implementing cocktail menu changes to ensure fresh, innovative, and seasonal cocktails are available on the menu.
  • Ordering and maintaining bar inventory control with the support of the Beverage Manager.
  • Ensure bar opening and closing duties are up to date and completed daily to standard by bartenders.


Required Experience

  • 2+ years restaurant and/or bartending experience
  • Excellent knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks
  • Strong commitment to service

  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent work ethic with a high degree of responsibility
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and build relationships
  • Must hold a current New South Wales RSA.
