In the role of Creative Programs Officer, you will research and interpret the State Library collection to develop engaging public programs. The exhibitions, digital and online experiences or live events you produce will reflect the Western Australian community and the many themes and histories within the State Library’s collection. To succeed in this role, you will have experience in research and interpretation of collections and in developing, producing, delivering and evaluating creative programs for diverse audiences, including online. This role would suit a broad variety of professional backgrounds including experienced journalists, broadcasters, arts workers, museum professionals or digital storytellers. Skills and experience in interpretive digital work and a background in video, radio production, journalism or web design are desirable.

There is currently one permanent, full-time (75 hours per fortnight).
