Casual Retail Assistant - AFL Store Eastland (September - December, training in August)

We're looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused Casual Retail Assistants to join our AFL Store at Eastland Shopping Centre from August through to December. This is our busiest and most exciting time of the year, with the AFL Final Series and Christmas creating an energetic retail environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As a casual retail assistant, you'll play an important role in creating an outstanding shopping experience for our customer by:

• Assisting customers to find the perfect AFL merchandise.
• Delivering exceptional customer service with every interaction.
• Maintaining a welcoming, well-presented store.
• Replenishing stock and supporting stock management processes.
• Keeping up to date with latest AFL products and promotions.
• Working collaboratively with your team to achieve sales and service goals.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• A genuine passion for AFL and the excitement of the game.
• Previous retail experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, energetic attitude with strong focus on customer service.
• An understanding of stock replenishment and inventory management.
• The flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, public holidays, and throughout the Final Series and Christmas trading period.

Pay rates are in accordance with the applicable Retail Award and are based on age.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $14.94 – $33.19 per hour

Experience:

• Point of Sale (POS) software: 1 year (Preferred)
• Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

• Australia (Preferred)
