About the role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Marine Team on a full-time basis as a Cruise Attendant. As a Cruise Attendant you will have the unique opportunity to work on our products Camira Sailing, Great Barrier Reef Adventure, Whitehaven Beach or Resort Connections. You will ensure every guest has an experience of a lifetime. Together you will share special places and create lasting memories.

Your responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Greeting and assisting guests while prioritising their experience and safety
  • Exceptional food and beverage delivery
  • Conducting safety briefings and presentations
  • Maintaining stock control and performing daily reconciliations of consumables on board
  • Upholding vessel housekeeping and cleanliness.

About you

The ideal candidate will be genuine, personable and capable of demonstrating hospitality to the highest standards. You should be physically fit to work on your feet for long periods in a demanding environment, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Strong guest service skills and experience
  • Reliable, self-motivated and proactive
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to high standards
  • Intermediate to advanced swimming abilities
  • The capability to work within a team environment


Requirements

  • Elements of Shipboard Safety / GPH or higher
  • QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • QLD Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)
  • National Police Check
  • Provide First Aid, CPR and Advanced Oxygen Therapy
  • Bronze Medallion and crowd management certificates are highly regarded
  • Hospitality qualifications and previous marine experience highly regarded.
