About Us

Cobrick Café is a busy Melbourne brunch café located inside Pentridge Coburg. We are known for quality coffee, friendly service, and a fast-paced working environment.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Café All-Rounder with strong customer service skills and barista support experience. Main duties include:

  • Greeting customers and taking orders
  • Barista support (milk prep, bean refills, grinder assistance, basic espresso tasks)
  • Preparing and serving beverages
  • Food running, clearing tables, maintaining a clean dining area
  • Operating POS and handling payments
  • Assisting with opening and closing routines
  • Creating a positive, welcoming atmosphere for guests

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year café FOH or barista support experience
  • Strong communication & customer service skills
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, positive and team-oriented
  • Basic understanding of coffee workflow (preferred)
  • Must have Australian work rights
