ABOUT EDEN PULSE

Eden Pulse is a Melbourne-based media and creative production company providing event photography, videography, interviews, promotional videos, corporate content, social-media reels and multi-camera event coverage.

We cover community celebrations, cultural events, sporting tournaments, corporate functions and special occasions across Melbourne.

As our events continue to grow, we are offering photographers and videographers the opportunity to join the Eden Pulse media team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a casual, event-based position. Work will be offered according to upcoming events, your availability, experience and the requirements of each assignment.

We welcome applications from experienced photographers and videographers, emerging creators, recent graduates and media students seeking paid practical experience.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Capturing professional photographs and video footage at events
  • Filming speeches, performances, interviews and important event moments
  • Following event schedules, shot lists and creative direction
  • Working collaboratively with camera operators, presenters and event coordinators
  • Setting up cameras, tripods, lighting, microphones and related equipment
  • Monitoring focus, exposure, audio and composition throughout events
  • Safely transferring all photographs and footage after each assignment
  • Representing Eden Pulse professionally while wearing the supplied uniform
  • Handling all company equipment carefully and responsibly

EQUIPMENT PROVIDED

Applicants are not required to own professional camera equipment. Eden Pulse can provide the equipment required for approved assignments, including:

  • Sony A7 III and Canon camera bodies
  • Canon and Tamron lenses
  • DJI Ronin RS 4 gimbal
  • DJI wireless microphone systems
  • Professional lighting equipment and stands
  • Camera monitors, tripods, flashes and accessories
  • Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini Pro
  • Walkie-talkies and communication equipment
  • Eden Pulse branded uniforms

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for applicants who have:

  • Photography, videography or camera-operation experience
  • Familiarity with Sony or Canon camera systems
  • An understanding of framing, focus, exposure and composition
  • A creative eye and strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual and professional conduct
  • Confidence working in busy event environments
  • The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Availability for weekend and evening events
  • A current driver’s licence and reliable transport

Experience using gimbals, wireless microphones, lighting equipment or multi-camera production will be highly regarded.

Media students and emerging creators with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Training and guidance on Eden Pulse equipment and event procedures will be provided.

PAY

The base casual rate starts from $35 per hour plus superannuation. Higher rates and applicable weekend, evening, overtime and public-holiday penalties will be paid according to the employee’s experience, classification and working times.
