At NSW Trustee and Guardian our purpose is to support the rights, welfare, and interests of the people of NSW. The agency supports the NSW Trustee, the Public Guardian and the Commissioner of Dormant Funds to carry out their statutory functions. We do this by providing a range of customer-centred services, including Will-making, trustee, financial management and guardianship services, including some for the state’s most vulnerable people.
We support over 50,000 customers annually and manage almost seven billion dollars in customer assets. A NSW government agency within the Communities and Justice Portfolio, our services help support and protect people at critical moments in their lives.

Our workplace reflects the diverse community we serve. We encourage applications from all backgrounds, experiences, and abilities. This includes women, people with disability, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, the LGBTQIA+ community and people from culturally diverse backgrounds.
About the team
Financial Performance and Investments comprise teams supporting the financial and investment needs of our clients as well as maintaining, enhancing, and protecting their assets. These services cover the management of properties, shares, investments, and other personal assets; the processing of customer and third-party payments and receipts; the handling of a range of taxation matters; developing financial plans and budgets to support our customers; and providing corporate frameworks, tools and services for Procurement, Project Management Governance, and Budgeting and Reporting to the organisation
About the role

This role is a great opportunity to build your finance career while supporting services that make a meaningful community impact.
We have two ongoing opportunities within the Customer Financial Services Branch—one in the Client Accounts team and one in the Client Investment Administration team. Successful candidates may also have the opportunity to build capability across both teams and work flexibly across either area when required.
- The Client Accounts team is responsible for the management of client financial transactions, including receipting, payments, bank reconciliations, transaction processing, and the maintenance of accurate financial records.
- The Client Investment Administration team is responsible for maintaining accurate records for our customers externally held investments including processing transactions on bank accounts, managed funds, superannuation and share portfolios.
